Makeover.

This makeover thing is so fun! I might just really do something to my hair real soon. Have been with my boring straight long hair for my entire life!

Tab.

Caught The Noose meets The Muttons @ Tab on Monday! It was funny but if Barberella was there it would have been great! A and the rest were saying that the muttons are more for radio and not for such plays.

We had dinner @ Jane Thai before the show and it was really good. The food there is really authentic. Love the phad thai. I was hoping that they serve the slipper crab salad like the one we had in Phuket, but they didn't have it.. We tried their raw prawn salad though! Another good thai food place to try would be Thai Noodle House @ Coronation Road :)

Skies.

My schedule has been pretty packed the past weeks. Random old friends started to text me at the same time. I should make more effort to keep in contact with everyone. So.. There's so much to update and I want to use my personal laptop to do my updating but I'm barely home!

This was what I woke up to the other day. It was really beautiful; the sky. It reminded me of when I was in Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan. I love that place :)

And this was taken when I was walking to meet Frankie for a drink nearby. The sky fascinates me.

Apertures.

Two Saturdays ago, I went for this Basic DSLR course with my colleague. A was really sick so he couldn't go! Just gonna upload a few pictures here :)

Brunch @ Realfood, The Central.

It was a pretty interesting morning. I learnt how to adjust apertures and the shutter speed. Like the front clear, back blur and stuff like that :) Finally put the dslr to some use.

One last thing! Went for a japanese buffet dinner @ Chiso Zanmai, The Central with my colleagues and A last week. It was so bad. Like so so bad. Some of my other colleagues went before and apparently they liked it. My japanese colleagues like it, but myself and A seriously, we're not going back there ever. Service is good, it's priced reasonably (About $33 after taxes?), but they only have 2 kinds of sashimi (Tune and Salmon) and it isn't fresh!

Homely environment :)

This cheesy appetizer that's off the menu. I can't remember what it's called. It's to die for. I want some now! And the cherry tomatoes are good too! We ordered the rockmelon with parma ham as appetizer number 1 while waiting for the other two to arrive. It's nothing compared to this appetizer. And apparently they give a better olive oil when you order this dish.

The mains were good but the appetizer was really good. I didn't like the pizza.

Korea Trip Day 3.

Manjanggul Lava Tube, also our first encounter with Sakuras! :D

Seongsan Sunrise Peak. Damn crowded. If only it was less known, it would be a great place for a pinic!

Submarine ride. I puked once I came out from the submarine. Went diving so many times and I never puked once. The sea was damn rocky but they still continued with it. The seabed was also shaken so the visibility was near zero.. They had to send a diver down to distribute food around the submarine so some fishes will swim by. :/ The only interesting part was that the guy asked me to sit next to the captain and take a pic there! Hahaha.

The usual bbq/ steamboat meat stuff with many side dishes. Not a korean food fan.

Horseback riding, ATV! Then to Jeju NANTA. It was good. And the building was surrounded by sakuras. It was really beautiful.

Korea Trip Day 1 - 2.

ASA 8D 6N tour. Asiana airlines.

Day 2:

Kimchi making. They pre-made the paste and pre-soaked the cabbage so basically we just spread the paste on! Honestly, I don't like kimchi! At the same location, we got to take pictures in the korean traditional costumes (The Hanbok).

Strawberry picking! Supposedly to pick a max of 5 strawberries but I picked like 10 cause I didn't know there was a cap! It was good :D

Yeoju Premium Outlet. Wouldn't go back again. Prices about the same as sg? Flo bought a belt for about SGD 30 ish I think.

Flight to Jeju.

I'm a soup lover and it's only today that I realized that there are good soups around my area! :) Dropped by A's place today cause he's mad sick. It feels like a weekend today :)

Lychee.

Not sure if I've shared this before, but this is actually my fave chill out place. Vineyard @ Hort Park. I love the ambiance here. And the 3 hour braised wagyu beef is seriously damn good. Like damn damn good. It's the only thing I've ever ordered there. They're famous for their Warm Lava Lemon Cake too :)

Lunch @ Menya Musashi today. Read about the raves on asiaone several weeks back and decided to try it today :) The one that's famous; you eat it like you're eating cha soba. Dip and eat. Not put all the noodles into the broth. They have White, Black and Red base. The black one is black garlic if I'm not wrong. It was good. The noodles were Q-ey! :)

Dinner at Watami Ion. I used to love this place, but I guess it's because they're pretty popular now, the service and quality is compromised. The previous time I visited, they served us uncooked food. This time round, the food was good but they forgot to serve us bowls for our soup, and no spoons for our rice.. But still :)
